Renovation Works 1st – 10th February 2017

As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, we are currently in the process of renovating some of our guest rooms as well as the ceiling above the main staircase.

During renovation, there will be a scaffolding tower on the first landing of the main stairway.  Work will commence from 09:00 to 17:00 hrs daily between 1st February 2017 through to 10th February 2017.  As a result, there will be some noise and we ask for your kind cooperation and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Shelleys continually strives to provide the best accommodation and service to our guests and we appreciate your continued support during the renovation period.

The Staff at The Shelleys were very sad to hear of the passing of Sir George Christie and send our condolences to his family and greater Glyndebourne family.

The Shelleys hires new General Manager

Natalie Canavan joins independently owned The Shelleys Hotel as general manager.

Responsible for the day to day management of the hotel and its employees Natalie will motivate the team, ensure the smooth running of events and hotel stays and safeguard health and safety procedures.

Natalie, General Manager, The Shelleys Hotel said:  “I am delighted to join the hotel at this very exciting phase and time of positive change.

I look forward to working alongside the team to grow the business and continue to provide guests with first class service.”

Natalie has over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry working for both independent and chain hotels.
